The best thing in Wellington...

My name is Lacklan. I am 5 y.o. from Adelaide, Australia. So far the best thing in Wellington was the dangerous goods exhibit at Te Papa and the chocolate milkshake at Fidels on Cuba St. I also liked the bucket fountain on Cuba Street.
 

The right feel

My partner and I moved up to Wellington from Nelson in January 2012. Our little boy was born here in Oct 2012. Wellington has the right feel to it for us and we enjoy it here. Plenty to do. We love it.

6 months before it sank

Great to come back to Wellington. I traveled here last in Nov 1967. I was on the Wahine mid Nov 1967, 6 months before it sank. Seeing the film today was very moving. Thank you.

Monarch memories

Seeing the model of [the] Dominion Monarch bring[ing] back memories. I was engineer on her last voyage to NZ and stayed with the ship in Seattle for the World Fair.

Entertaining the crowds

Me (Celia Derby) is [sic] coming today to hear my brother (Mark Derby's) lecture. Also, I played keyboards in the band ("The Roadsters") at the Overseas Terminal for weddings. I now play piano at the Hope Centre.
