I went to the Carter Observatory on the 19th October and looked at the stars.
I looked threw [sic] a huge telescope. The first star I saw was Venus. It was a star with a purple and orange background. I also saw a movie that told me about space and told me how to find the Southern Cross.
I remember clearly as a child riding on the last day of the old Cable Car. Sideways perched on the outside steps - 'too dangerous' they said - but oh! What fun. The Friday night trip down to Bakehouse Arcade on Lambton Quay never to be the same again!
My favourite place to play in Wellington is [in] the Botanical Gardens because two people can play on the slide in one go.
