We’re asking visitors to write and leave love letters to Wellington in the Te Upoko o te Ika a Māui exhibition at the Museum of Wellington City & Sea. The exhibition features people's stories and passion about the greater Wellington region. One letter per day is selected to add to this blog. We welcome and encourage conversation and feedback to each letter.

A secret love note
Dear William, Hi this is Shannan. I'm at Wellington Museum right now and I thought of you (I seem to be doing that a lot these days) and yeah. You're leaving at the end of this school year so I hope I will make good memories with you. If I don't ever get the guts to tell you, I kinda, sorta, maybe like you. By the end of Term One I'll just tell you when you leave in a pretty orange card cause you like orange and I'm a cheesy shit. ANYWAY. Ew why did I end up writing about you. This is ew. Please stop doing things to me e.g. invading my brain. P.S. if you ever come here I hope you find this, it'd be hilarious, omg.
